| BASIC CONDUCT |
|
As a member of Stasis, it is your responsbility to ensure a comfortable environment for fellow guild members. We will not tolerate the following: -
Ninjas as well as ninjaing as retaliation against a ninja |
| INACTIVITY |
|
Stasis has limited its member base to about 60. Because of this, we don't require all of our members to have a 90% raid attendence, for example. We understand there are real life issues preventing you from playing, no matter how much you want to: girlfriend aggro, parents aggro, exam period, business trips, family issues etc. Therefore, please follow the following guidelines in order for us to filter out inactive members and keep our 60-member base filled with only active/partially active members: - If you know you are not going to be online for an extended period of time (more than 1-2 weeks), please give us prior notice by posting on our forum under the "Absent, Away Notices" thread with the reason as well as the duration of your absence. - If for some obscure reason you are not able to post on the forum regarding this matter, please inform any one of our officers. - Any member who has not logged on for more than 30 days, and did not give us any prior notice of absence, will be assumed to have quit the game, and will be kicked out of the guild. Officers and Class Leaders are given a 60 days grace period. |
| GUILD RANKING and ATTENDANCE |
|
Members who achieved rank Probation and above will have their attendance recorded during raid days. Attendance on raid days will be used to gauge your guild rank which in return will determine your loot priority during raids.
Guild Ranks will be updated fortnightly on every other Tuesday. 1 point will be awarded to full participation for each raid day for a total maximum of 10 pts over 10 raid days. The following might result in a 0.5 pt reduction up to a maximum of 1 pt reduction during raid day if the raider did the following without special permission from the GM only:
|
| RAIDS |
|
A raid involves 10-40 individuals. Therfore, in order to ensure a pleasant gaming environment, please adhere to the following rules strictly. RAID - show up prepared and try to be early. If for whatever reason, you think or know that you will be late, please: - inform us through the forum, shoutbox, MSN, or anyone who is able to contact us, - add it into the comment box in phpRaid when signing up (if you know this before signing up), - note that you may become backup instead. If you're no longer able to attend after signing up, please: - cancel your signup on phpRaid. BEFORE THE RAID STARTS 1. Please be on time to raids. On time would mean at the instance portal or zoned in by the scheduled time. It is a waste of time for 9-39 others in the raid if they have to wait one hour from the first invite to the first pull. If the raid is scheduled to start at 11pm, the first pull should be made at 11pm sharp so as to ensure sufficient time to clear the instance as well as progress further if possible. Take into account the queue times and ensure that you have done the following before the raid: -
Buy/get all necessary reagents/pots 2. Please stay out of BGs (Battlegrounds) or any PvP encounter at least half an hour before the raid is scheduled to start. This is to ensure you're not flagged when you're zoned in, as well as ensure yourself sufficient time to prepare and make your way to the raid. It is understandable that you may lose track of time during an exciting battleground, therefore, please restraint yourself from entering anymore battlegrounds for a respectable amount of time before the raid starts. 3. If you are not sure whether you'll be given a raid slot, please be at the instance on time with the other raid members regardless as standbys will also receive on time dkp. All standbys should inform the dkp officer directly that they are on standby. After the raid starts, you are free to either park your main outside the instance and go on an alt, or wander off as long as you are able to zone in within 5 minutes of being called to fill a raid slot. DURING THE RAID 1. Please try to refrain from going afk for an extended period of time during the raid. It is understandable that RL happens and it's unavoidable. However, please note that if you're away for too long, and the raid is unable to proceed on certain bosses with you being afk, you will be kicked from the raid after a reasonable amount of time, so that you will be ported out of the instance. If you do need to be afk for any reason, please let your class leader or any officer know the duration of your absence before you leave your computer. It is sufficient to mention it in raid chat for short afks like bio breaks, getting a drink etc. 2.
If for any particular encounter, you are unsure of the fight, because
either you're not on vent (which you should be on unless you have a very
good reason), the raid leader wasn't clear, or you weren't listening (shame
on you), please ASK. Feel free to ask the raid leader, your class leader,
any officer, or anyone who knows the fight for that matter. It's better
to delay the start of the fight by a bit, than to not know what's going
on and end up wiping the raid. |
| LOOT SYSTEM - 5 MAN INSTANCE (Normal or Heroic) |
|
Primal Nether Please announce it at start of raid if you are forming the party for a primal nether run. This is to prevent any argument over it. If the run is not organised for a primal nether and it did drop, apply common courtesy and discuss who will get it or /roll for it. BOE
Epics Strongly urge the party to give it to the one who needs it most if it is an upgrade only. Otherwise /roll should be used. These loot are not property of Stasis and the winner is free to do whatever he chooses to do with it. (sell it, use it, donate to guild bank etc.) Suggestion: Item of high value can be auctioned off and the gold divided between the party members. Scryer and Aldor Rep Tokens Only
roll on them if the tokens represent your faction. The winner should pass
on the next token for any party members with the same faction until all
of them have won one token each, then repeat. |
| LOOT SYSTEM - 10-40 MAN INSTANCE |
|
10 MAN INSTANCE AND ABOVE Looting
system will be set to master loot at the start of each raid. Herbalist/Miner/Skinner will be appointed and all gathered mats from such instances will be sent to the respective guild banks. (For example, primal bat leather skinned from ZG bats, Souldarite from mining in ZG and Bloodvine gathered from herbs in ZG.) If you have a trade skill that requires any one of these mats to create an item that is an upgrade for any guild member or yourself to equip, please feel free to ask for the mats from the bank. Coins/Scarabs/Bijous Coins and Bijous (from ZG) should be greeded on, and trading between guilds members for required sets of coins (for ZG rep and honor tokens) is highly encouraged. Idols and scarabs (from AQ20) will be banked and each member can withdraw the respective idols and scarabs upon reaching the required reputation for a class quest reward. BOE Green and Blue drops BOE
Greens will be needed by any officer and will be vendored or sharded.
The gold/sharded mats from these will go to the guild bank, to help with
any costs that the guild might incur. BOE blues will be banked for guild
members to withdraw if required. BOE epic drops Any
class present in the raid that needs the item (upgrade and beneficial)
are eligible to ask for the item. If there are more than two contenders
for the item, the guild loot distrbution guideline will be applied. If
the item is not claimed, it is considered property of the guild. The raid
leader/officer/CL will either send it to the guild bank for AH and add
to guild fund or shard it for enchanting mats and sent to the guild bank. BOP blue drops Any class that needs the item (upgrade and beneficial) can call for the item. If everyone passes on it, the item is disenchanted and the shard will be banked. Tier Drops and Tokens Suicide King system will be used for all Tier Tokens (T5 and T6). BOP epic drops Please refer to the section below under GUILD LOOT DISTRIBUTION GUIDELINE. |
| GUILD LOOT DISTRIBUTION GUILDLINE for BOP EPICS 10-25 MAN INSTANCE |
|
Stasis is a casual guild with focus on raid content progression. Recognising that members do have a real life outside the game and taking into account painful lessons from past experiences with various loot systems, we have come up with a simple "Highest Upgrade Rule" to cater for our casual raiding policy and style. It is a simple system aimed at removing tedious dkp compiling, providing full transparency to all raid members during loot distribution and most importantly of all, allowing all guild members to be generally on par gearwise. The idea to keep the guild members on par gearwise is to allow seamless rotation or swap outs during raids. Having a guild of evenly or closely geared members will enable us to raid regardless of who is online unless the fight specifically requires a class ability which is not present. This also prevents "unflattering comments on lousy gears" from erupting when any member is swapped in for the raid. PROS Guild
members are generally balanced out gearwise allowing seamless swap outs
and rotations. CONS Possible
discontent when new members are getting most of the loots but then again,
it isn't easy to be full-fledged Stasis raider now.
HIGHEST UPGRADE RULE aka HUR 1)
All raid participants who are eligible and intend to bid for loot after
the general loot distribution is applied will link their best gear relevant
to the loot in question. 2)
The loot will go to the raid participant who will get the highest upgrade. NOTE: Intentionally using a lower grade item instead of their best (to ensure winning loot) is a serious offence and the individual involved will be gkicked. What
happens if Player A and B have the exact same item and they both will
have the highest upgrade? What
if Player A and B have very similar stats items and both will share similar
highest upgrade?
LOOT DISTRIBUTION GUIDELINES FOR STASIS RAIDS GM/Officers/CL/Core
