Stasis spent the last week clearing SSC and TK to get the remaining members keyed. With that done, our focus is now on clearing the remaining content. To start things rolling, we pointed our raid arrow at Archimonde. We had not touched him since we started Mount Hyjal a few weeks back mainly due to numbers and too many pleads for Black Temple tours :P. Now that everyone was attuned bar Kasbi, it was time to close the Mount Hyjal chapter. Kicked off the week with a good 4/5 on the first night but the 2nd night was a let down with low turn out of the decursing classes and we changed our plans and did a couple of BT bosses. Friday was great with good turnout and with some practice with the tears and abit of assignments we started our first attempt. Didn't really go well, with airburst deaths, doomfire death and tank death. 41% was the best we got but everyone got a good feel of the fight. Raid was finally called after 4 hours of wipes lol. Tonight felt different though. Morale was good and even when our MT couldn't turn up, nobody was feeling bad vibes prolly due to the fact that all our tanks are competent. Nikkasal was tasked to MT tonight. We also threw in an extra healer and a more detailed heal assignment was given. Another reminder of the doomfire, airburst portion and off we went. The usual doomfire lovers and airburst deaths resulted in six wipes but each attempt was getting better. On the seventh attempt, Whewwhewwhew died on the first airburst with Kalabao dcing and coping a doomfire soon after. We were down to 23 in total within 30 secs, a wipe seemed imminient but the healers stepped it up and the remaining raid survived the soul charges damage. Everyone did their part in dps, movement, heals and with a bit of luck, Stasis pulled it off and saved the Night Elves from Archimonde! Good work to everyone! |

With a spare raid day taunting us, Stasis headed back into Black Temple and had a quick look at the other bosses. Cleared some trash and presto, we had Teron Gorefiend waiting for us. Thanks to the simulator, everyone came pretty well prepared for this fight. 3 attempts and a new screenshot for the guild. Looking forward to next week after reset. Have fun! **Rosella relinquished his CL role due to his work commitments. He'll still be around though so fret not. |

With another interesting fight ahead, Stasis decided to go for Shade of Akama today with good numbers and classes. Didn't really prepare much for this other than having a general idea of how the fight was gonna happen (Someone's getting lazy on preparation). Did abit of general grouping assignments and off we went. 1st attempt ended up in a wipe heh :P. 2nd was slightly better but we still had trouble with the adds. With each wipe, the guild strategy was improved based on feedbacks from previous attempts and soon we managed to have the shade moving but we were overwhelmed by the incoming reinforcements. Another quick tweak with the strategy we killed the Shade of Akama for a guild first and screenshot. Overall, this is a rather simple fight. Might be overwhelming at first but as long as everyone gets the hang of it, it's cake. A spare raid night left before reset, let's hope we can nick one more boss for the screenshot guys.

With the entire guild being attuned minus the few new recruits, Stasis did quick work on the first 4 bosses in Mount Hijal on Wednesday. Thursday was abit slow on the start up due to RL issues so we did a quick one on Al'ar and Gruul before we had the numbers and classes for a Black Temple attempt. A bit of action with the "THROW IT THROW IT" boss and the raid closed in on Supremus, the 2nd boss in Black Temple. We had issues with the hateful strike and volcanos at first but after abit of tweak with the tank order and the usual QQ on the raid. We had him on the third attempt with zero death. Great work guys! Seem like we need to squeeze the raid abit for a bigger screenie :P |

What happens when one is given the power of a GM? Ask Kalabao, he enjoyed every moment of it as seen from the screenshot. Let's hope he will be back to his usual self on raid day. |

Tonight, Stasis ventured for the very first time into the depths of Black Temple. The sewer entrance wasn't too great a welcome but the tiny water elementals made up for the gloomy surroundings. Clearing the trash went pretty much without a hitch until the big group near the boss where we almost had a wipe but the raid held on and soon we had the High Warlord Naj'entus by himself. (Wonder how much time he spent in BGs to get that rank?) Went through the quick ablities of the boss, the spread out order was given and off we went. Didn't spent too much time on explanation or assigning positions and heals because we knew in the first attempt, no matter how detailed the planning was, everything would always go wrong. It did and soon healers were rezzing the dead for another attempt. With proper positioning and assignments now, the second attempt started and was going pretty well until someone decided that people didn't need to be near full health and threw the spine in, OUCH....many people died and people got pissed. Same went for the third attempt with over zealous spine throwers. After much QQ after the "SUPER FAST Spine throw", we started our 4th attempt. Everything went according to plan (more or less), and with a bit of luck we had another new screenshot for the progression. This boss is fun, very heal intensive though and requires people to throw the spine at the appropriate time. Takes a bit to get it but shouldn't be too hard for anyone who ventures in. |

Stasis took a Valentine's Day break and after much love and commitment all around, we were back in Mount Hijal. The waves here were significantly easier than those of the previous bosses and we got to the boss with not much hassle. With only 7 healers tonight, we struggled on the heals and the rain of fire got most of us because we didn't spread out much even though the word was given :(. Can't blame us though, we are that tight a guild :P. After some adjustments to the tanking spot allowing more space to move around, we put Celto as MT and went again. Things were better but heal wise was still pretty weak, and the numbers getting rain of fire at one go wasn't really helping /cry. A call was made and Drekthrall offered to respec to resto to help out, kudos to him. So another round of rep grind with Frostworms, Infernals and HUGE yeah HUGE ICE CONES from the hunters traps. We have Azgalor tumbling towards us again. This time round, the word spread out finally bypassed the /lag /ignore and got into the raid. Things were going well until our SS were running out, wished we had 18 warlocks instead of 3 for this fight :P. One by one, the raid numbers dropped to the death mark but Azgalor wasn't doing much better as his health tumbled towards zero. On and on we went and soon after a good night of trash, wipes and heaps of trash epics and patterns, Stasis just climbed up another notch on the progression ladder. Great
work everyone, pity the glitch on Tusamuro though. Hope the GM can turn
things around.

Another one bites the dust. While the trash waves are interesting the bosses so far aren't really living up to the "BOSS" tag. Kaz'rogal loves mana and he gets it from the raid. This first attempt had a bunch of us blown up. First time jitters for most I guess. Second attempt went much better and we remembered to get the taurens to help out too! All went well and there we go ... screenshot! Let's go for the next one come raid day :D. |

Following last night Kael kill, we finally had good numbers for Mount Hijal and beyond. Everyone was eager for some action and so off we went! A couple of fellas had to sit out for the night but no drama I hope :P. Waves of trash were cleared before Anetheron show up. We wiped twice on him and after some discussion among the raid, we decide to have some form of positioning for all and with it, the third attempt went pretty smooth with 1 death towards the end. Can't wait for the reset to get more people attuned for Black Temple. |

After 5 Vashj and 3 Kael kills, Stasls is officially saying goodbye to Serpentshrine Cavern and Tempest Keep now that we've gotten the entire guild minus two (Away and latency issues) attuned. This together with the release of patch notes on 2.4 seemed like a good time as we don't really need to go back and get them attuned till after patch and we can now focus on progression. On a side note, I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone in the guild for their patience and commitment. Without each and everyone of you, we won't be where we are now. No doubt our progression isn't lightning fast, but considering our down time due to all the server resets during raids, cap issues, group of friends leaving issues etc etc...we did pretty well. The hardest and most annoying parts of TBC progression are history now, it's time to reap what we sow for the past few months in Mt Hijal and Black Temple. I hope we will complete the journey come hell or high water. |

All new experience!! Tonight Stasis decided to go have a look at Mt Hijal and see what were we getting into. Pity we didn't have the numbers due to some of the guys still lacking either the Vashj or Kael vial. Morale was good though afterall, it was something new after months in SSC and TK. So with 23 numbers in total, the raid took on the waves of incoming undead. Nothing much to this part though pfft. Soon it's boss time, Rage Winterchill. Nothing much was said other than spread out and watch aggro and much to our surprise, the boss died on our first attempt. It's kinda of disappointing but at the same time it's does feel good to down a boss on first attempt. Would like to do more but the raid was really lacking in certain classes so back to SSC/TK for more vials. WE'll BE BACK! |

After a long christmas break and loads of mugging around, Stasis decided to shift focus onto Kael'thas Sunstrider, the last and final boss in The Eye. Being a 5 phases fight, it is by far the most interesting fight we have come across. We spent 3 nights to perfect phase 1-3 and 2 nights getting owned in phase 4 and on this final night before reset...Stasis unleashes all the frustrations built up over the past 2 weeks upon Kael'thas. We started off the night's attempts with the usual nub deaths in phase 1-3 which snowballed to eventual wipes. After the usual QQ, subsequent attempts were hovering around 60-70% in phase 4. Another round of QQ about pheonix and eggs, MC and shield...and off we went again. Wipe after wipe, the guild kept going and soon it was the last attempt of the night. Things went smoothly this time round with zero death in phase 1 - 3 and only a few deaths in phase 4. Upon hitting phase 5 with over twenty up, we know we had this. Spread out, avoid all the ugly stuff, the guild kept the dps on and slowly but surely, Kael'thas was dying. After 6 nights and in 2 weeks, Stasis finally closed the chapter on TK. All eyes on Mt Hyjal and Black Temple now. For all the people who had been sitting out for the past few raid nights, thank you for your understanding. Buckled up though, it's your turn to settle your score with Kael'thas next week! |
