Today we had almost a full turn out for raid which is rare for a Sunday. A quick run through Magtheridon Lair followed by Void Reaver gave us opportunity to pit ourselves against Doomwalker. Gathering everyone in the guild, we headed down to SMV, did a quick general briefing on the strategy and we were ready to roll. Being first timers, we misjudged the distance to pull the boss but nothing a quick raid shift couldn't fix. Jetfield started off with a MD onto Edie and the huge robot came. The raid spread around and soon was on the boss. The first earthquake caught a few by surprise resulting in a few deaths which was expected for a first attempt. The OTs did a good job of picking up on overrun and the healers kept the tanks up without much issue. As the fight dragged on, the raid got the hang of it and before we knew it, Doomwalker enraged and all hell broke loose. DPS destroyed its remaining working parts in quick time and there we had a 5th Screenie in 2 Weeks! By the way, can you spot the gnome among us?

The last visit on Fathom Lord had him owning us. Licking up our wounds and cracking our heads, we came up with a healing plan and off we went for payback time! We had a few new guys on this night and there were worries about beating the enrage timer but the officers decided that it was a good way to let them learn the fight since we had not downed him yet. So off we went with a near wipe when 2 colossus were pulled instead of the usual one. With room cleared, the fight briefing began followed by the healing plan. Pretty much straight forward except for the healing assignments. As usual, the first attempt was a joke Stasis style, to have MT dead in the first few seconds haha. Second attempt wasn't too bad but a few heals were not interrupted in time and we suffered the consequences with a wipe eventually. With a focus reminder, the 3rd attempt started off with a good pull considering our hunters went on strike today. DPS was on the ball with the spitefire totems, heals were interrupted and soon we got the shaman down followed by the hunter and his pet. The healers were working overtime as the fight went on. The Fathom Lord surprised the MT healers with a spitfire right on them. Good thing reaction was fast and a quick position shift rendered the totem useless as the rest of the raid were taking it out on the priestress. With all his three bodyguards down, the Fathom Lord grew more powerful with his newly gained abilities. The raid stuck to the game plan despite losing a few healers due to his early spitfire surprise, we held on till the end, eventually downing him. All in all, it's an interesting fight and good work to everyone especially Pawnstarr, Datura, Marcorum and Grimloche for nice heal interrupts. Work harder guys for next new boss or we're gonna stay pink again!!!

"Let the good times roll" best describe this week with three new bosses added to the guild progression. With good turnout, nothing is impossible and tonight is one fine example. Morogrim Tidewalker, the huge giant who keeps little murlocs as pets or food stood in his chamber. Like little ants, we filed up to the form up area and did a quick buff check. In the last visit, we played around with various positionings and ways to manage the aggro on the murlocs. After a good night of feedback, a proper excution plan was formulated and after a briefing for the new guys on this fight, we had Morogrim smashing away at our MT. There was a slight hiccup on the first attempt and that resulted in a quick wipe. Nothing we couldn't handle with a quick fix and the fight was on again. This time round everything went as planned. The murlocs were tanked and AOE with no death throughout until 30%. A mistake on when phase 2 started caused a few death but kudos to the guild for recovering and fending off the murlocs' last ditch attempt to save their master. Stasis downed Morogrim Tidewalker and his hundreds of murloc pets for a first kill screenshot. Special thanks to Opix, Bjeoran and Seraphs who respec for this fight. We went to have some fun with the Fhathom Lord, but turned out he was having more fun than us tonight. Ana, you need to call him to get the message across. |

This week has been pretty much a blast for us. Gruul, Magtheridon and VR cleared on first night after reset followed by Hydross and Lurker today leaving us some spare time to doodle around. A quick recon on Doom Lord Kazzak gave us a surprise opportunity to have a go at him. Being a late night raiding guild, he's usually dead by the time we gather enough people for a raid. Hence, we quickly gathered the guild up for an attempt. A quick run through the positioning and fight and off we go. We did pretty well on the first attempt but being new to this, a couple of deaths resulted in Kazzak healing himself and we got owned. For the 2nd attempt when we had him at 1%, someone with less than 50% mana got the debuff and we self imploded at 1% lol. Our 3rd attempt lasted about 2seconds, our poor Tank Edie got owned at the start. We gathered again for the final attempt and tried our best to persuade a few watching Alliance to a safe range using /beg and /shoo. Good thing they got the hint. With the experience from the 3 previous attempts, we could only hope for a better performance. Jetfield started with a MD on Edie and soon the melee group led by Kelv was on Kazzak's butt. The range dpsers whipped out more bolts than Kazzak himself as the timer ticked towards enrage. Bloodlust fired up in good time and we had the Doom Lord down slightly after 1min. Good work everyone!! |

The past month had not been going well for the guild. With a couple of core players leaving the game and a few others having their exams, we barely had enough numbers to raid. We were lucky with the recruitment and hooked up with some awesome players. As usual, we tried our best to gear them up before pushing for new bosses. After 2-3 weeks of lull period, we more or less scraped together enough to push for progression. Hydross is by far the naughtiest boss we've came across. Picky on the aggro and ruthless on the raid if anyone makes a mistake. On top of that, the amount of wipes from the "Happy Wandering" raid members really dampened the morale quite a bit. It's really a simple fight but it's always a mess before the first kill. One problem comes after the next...transition, aggro, adds gone wild..you name it, we got it. After 3 decent nights of attempts, things were finally falling into place. Tank transitions were timely, OTs' reaction improved, aggro was still flying around but we were getting there. So all in all....the whole process was: QQ, PEW PEW, More QQ and more PEW PEW and Hydross is dead for a long awaited screenshot. The upcoming bosses will be harder so suck it up guys and get ready. |

The past weeks have been hectic, getting Magtheridon then followed by the free entry to Tempest Keep which led to us working on Void Reaver. SSC was sort of put on hold. This week however was pretty much less hectic, all thanks to the guild for keeping focused and clearing Gruul, Magtheridon and Void Reaver on a single night. With plenty of time for SSC, we gathered up for the first night and got hit by a bout of disconnection so bad that we had to call the raid off :(. Tonight, we decided to try again and headed down to the cavern. With our MT out of action due to his net quota haha...we had Pawnstarr and our cuddly bears for tanking. Fishing out the lurker was boring, the fight however, was not. Spout was a killer until everybody learnt how to avoid it. Phase 2 had us a few times until we worked out a plan. After 3 visits, 11 wipes and countless DCs, we finally got the act going. Things were going well until 15% when people started dying but somehow the raid held on and kept the pounding on the big bad fish. At 1% he began to spout...and it was the longest 1% ever but ...we still downed him anyway hahaha. Screenie for guild first and grats to everyone who participated including the backups. Now that we got the gear ready, let's take on Hydross next. |

For the veterans, due to the huge number of recruits this time round, you might experience some lag in loot collection. This will be due to the fact that we'll be gearing up the new guys once they pass their trial. It's up to you guys to root out those not worthy for promotion *hint*. Congratulations to Seraphs and Opix on promotion to their respective Class Leader rank. |
