First of all, we have blizzard to thanks for this one. Removing the attument for Tempest Keep saved us heaps of time. When news of the free access to Tempest Keep was out. Everyone was eager to venture in and have a look and so we did. Since Void Reaver been rumored to be pretty simple we decided to give it a go. The wipes on trash didn't really affect us much but the constant D/C is giving us a headache with one or two D/C every few minutes. Our first visit didn't go quite well due to the amount of time we spent at trash and having a raid peiod of 4 hours don't help much for a bunch of working adults haha. The fight is really simple, just need to get people to avoid the arcane voids and bamp...Void Reaver downed! Things can only get easier with more visits when people get used to avoiding the orbs. Screenie for a guild first and one more to the progression list. By the way, congratulations on our 2 rogues Kelv and Stifle for being the first in guild to own a T5. Keep it up Stasis. |

Another chapter has opened up for us, Serpentshrine Cavern. Things will get tougher so expect more screw ups heh. Moving on to more serious issues, as we all know, this server is currently closed for transfers and any attempts to recruit is next to futile. Having to put up with ninjas like KH**L and moving through 3-4 hunters who can't even out-dps our tank, I am dismayed at the talent pool that aren't in a guild yet. Our numbers are pretty low (41 at the moment) for a raiding guild but lucky for us, the majority are very active and talented. We can only hope that blizzard opens up transfers soon. Until then, everyone just has to grind it out. Nothing lasts forever. Fuse, our current Mage CL will be out of action indefinitely. Bad for the guild but best for him. Congrats on the newborn. We'll never forget your contribution to the guild. One of our old members Cefah has decided to call it quits. All the best to you. For the old ex guild members who have left the guild/game due to real life issues, if you guys decide to hop back in...the door is always open. Guess that's all for the hi and byes. See you guys next raid day for more wipes and repair bills heh. |

After being grounded for the past two weeks due to lack of tanks and healers for 25man raid, there wasn't much we could do but to go get peek-ga-pawned by Magtheridon. With our Main Tank back and the sudden reappearance of our healers we finally had a chance to go for the fatty. With lessons learnt from the previous visits, things were much more organised this time. We had the clickers whipped, interrupters tortured, healers smacked, DPS bashed and the tanks thoroughly roughed up. It worked pretty well with the first 2 attempts below 30% but unfortunately followed by another one of those "incidents". We took a short break courtesy of Rosella's parents. With some quick reminders, checks and some last minute calls to "WAIT", the fight was on! Mad dps downed the first channeler in 23sec, followed by the 2nd channeler just before the 1min mark with the 3rd channeler down at the 1min38sec and Magtheridon was unleashed when the 4th channeler was at 28%. The locks were running around like bees chasing after abyssals while the hunters, mages and rogues dpsed and kept the interrupts on the channelers. Things went pretty smooth with all channelers down before the first blast nova. Clickers got the hang of their task while the dps continued their relentless assault on Magtheridon's big butt. The transition from phase 2 to 3 was smooth with only 2 deaths due to the knockback into cleave right after the shattered ceiling damage. Dps went crazy after 30% and within 2 blast nova, Stasis added Magtheridon to their progression kill list. Kudos to all Stasis members for your efforts including the misfiring aggro wipes (YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!!). Seeya next raid day. |

After the horrendous server reset which killed off our raid plans last night, everyone was eager to get things started today. The usual invites, buffs and quick checks and we had High King Maulgar making way for us to Gruul. After a couple of words on positioning and reminders about the fight, Edie started the encounter with a run with the raid behind him. Things were going as planned until the first shatter killed off 3 of the raid members, the fight went on regardless and before we knew it, Gruul's death was well within our reach. After 14th Growth and one third of the raid dead, Stasis finally has a screenie on Gruul for a guild first kill! Keep it up fellas, we're getting there. :D |
